Hey Reader,

We walked into Disneyland for our 5 year anniversary, and it immediately hit us with the smell of fresh, warm churros.

Courtney and I couldn't wait to show Jagger the Disney Magic!

You could hear the Toon parade passing by mainstreet… I picked up my son and pointed at the giant Disney Ferris wheel.

He just pointed at the ground and said, “Ducks, ducks, ducks!”

He spent a solid half hour just chasing a group of birds.

I looked over at Courtney, shrugged my shoulders, and said, “He just wants to chase ducks.”

Rats…

Those ducks were better than Buzz Lightyear or any expensive ride we planned.

At first, I was frustrated.

I checked in with my emotions, and took a moment for a deep rib breath.

Then I let it go and started chasing the ducks right alongside him.

I realized Kona would've been proud of his form… she loves chasing birds in our community.

As a guy with degrees in Economics and Engineering from UC Irvine, my brain immediately saw the parallel to how high-achievers treat their health.

We do the exact same thing with our fitness…

We drop thousands on fancy gym memberships or a $2,000 Peloton that just becomes a coat rack.

We think the magic is in the heavy price tag or the grueling workout.

Test this for yourself.

Look back at your past fitness attempts.

Was it the expensive gear that actually moved the needle, or was it the basic stuff you did every single day?

The real magic isn't the shiny Ferris wheel of fitness. It's the ducks.

It's the simple, free, repeatable habits you can execute on autopilot, even on your busiest days.

This is exactly what we tackle in Phase 1 of my LivFit 365 coaching program.

I call it The Domino Effect.

I've been in the fitness field for over 23 years, and I can tell you exactly why people fail.

People try to knock over the whole pile of our life at once instead of taking gradual steps.

They go on restrictive diets and try to lose all the weight in one week.

But the hard thing, never works.

Instead, we install the 5 Daily Dominos so doing the right thing becomes the easiest thing you do all day.

Stop waiting for a magic pill.

Tomorrow morning, don't look for the shiny rides.

Just wake up, tie your shoes, and go chase the ducks.

P.S. As an Economics guy, I have to admit… the ROI on a $150+ Disneyland ticket just to watch local park wildlife is deeply painful. But hey, at least the churros were fantastic.
