Hey Reader,

In my last email I shared how my client Kris found her calling with the Orange Unified School District. She lost 40 pounds and was riding a wave of pure excitement.

But neither of us saw the crash coming.

Then March 2020 arrived. The world stopped. My business shut down overnight. Kris and I lost touch.

During that time away my life changed drastically. I had to pivot my entire business. Plus, my wife Courtney and I were preparing for the biggest change of all… eventually welcoming our son Jagger into the world.

When things finally settled down I reached out to Kris. We met up, and it was tough for me to see her.

The bright-eyed excitement from her first campaign was completely gone. She looked defeated. The weight had crept back and her hip was in constant pain.

She was the ultimate “Chief Everything Officer.” She was bending over backward trying to do everything for the school district.

She was burning the candle at both ends to be the perfect school board member, but she wasn't taking care of herself. Because of the Scraps Economy, she was giving herself and her family her exhausted leftovers.

As a trainer it's hard to watch someone you care about suffer. I had to look her in the eye and say, “Kris, I think you might be causing this yourself.”

Most conventional fitness advice would say she just needed more willpower. But my background in Economics and Engineering told me otherwise.

You can't think your way out of a thinking problem.

If the hardware is broken, the software will crash.

That's exactly why you become a 2:00 AM Prisoner, staring at the ceiling with a racing mind while your body begs for sleep.

We needed to fix her human system. And heavy lifting wasn't going to be the answer.

We used a very specific diagnostic tool to pinpoint the exact broken link in her nervous system. I turned this exact tool into a free quiz, and I'm going to share it with you on Saturday so you can test your own hardware.

Systems > Willpower,

PS: Jagger discovered how to open cabinets yesterday. The physical energy required to chase a toddler is no joke! Good thing my hardware is upgraded.
